Preparing for the Harvest!

As the month of October is traditionally when farmers traditionally harvest the crops, I have been preaching on the spiritual harvest every Sunday morning. I believe we are seeing glimpses of a spiritual awakening in our midst as many of the members are actively reaching out to lost souls. The last two Sundays testimonies have been given of witnessing opportunities and Bible tracts that were passed out. Please pray that God will give us an even more earnest zeal to reach the lost here in Everett!

My personal soul-winning goal is two fold:
  1. To knock at least 1-2 blocks of doors every day. (This will allow me to knock app. 2400 door's per year personally.)
  2. To be diligent to take advantage of witnessing opportunities every day.
Please pray that I will be able to accomplish these two goals.

On the more personal side, October was a difficult month for the business but the Lord is faithful and has provided for all our bills. Praise the Lord! It was a blessing to have my good friend B.J. Nordgren here for a couple days before he was to attend a missions conference. It was a good time of fellowship and we reminisced about many old memories of ministering together in Chicago. Please pray for B.J. as he and his family plant churches in Chicago.

Also, we were blessed to have my Mom come and spend a week with us for Andrew's birthday.

Until Later,

Andrew
