April Update - Rejoice With Us!
I hope this post finds everyone doing well...We had our first set of evangelistic meetings in April. Bro. Tim Shanks from God's Word Baptist Church in Ridgefield, WA graciously came and preached every evening. Many of the unsaved we had prayed for came and we had 3 make professions of faith. All in all we had 40-50 first time visitors and some have continued to attend after the meetings. On the final evening we had 57 in attendance which is record for our church.
After months of door knocking in the neighborhood adjacent to the church, the Lord has refocused our soul-winning efforts to a neighborhood, 10 blocks north of the church. It is quickly becoming my favorite pond to fish in as it seems most we speak to are receptive to the gospel. This is unusual in a state where over 40% of the population claim to be agnostic. In fact this Sunday we had 4 people visit who were a direct result of door to door soul-winning.
We are now looking to acquire a used 16 passenger van to help pickup some of the families we are meeting while out soul-winning.

- Souls to continue to be reached.
- Continued spiritual growth in the church.
- A van to pick up families for church.
- VBS in July. That we can reach additional families
